    Default 1.7 Trillion spending bill

    Just some quick math.

$1,700,000,000,000.00 divided by estimated 143 million taxpayers equals @ $12,000.00 per taxpayer.

It?s amazing, how stupid are we? At least Pelosi gets a building named after her.

    $12k a year?

I wish that was all I paid.

The $1.7T that was just passed is less than a third of the total budget. It is the discretionary nonsense that is argued over every year.

Mandatory spending is the big killer. Social Security alone accounts for $1.2T. Add medicare, medicaid and welfare and you're at almost $4T.

Makes the 3.8 mile long Michelle Obama Trail in Georgia look like a bargain at only $3.6 million.

    Default Do the math...

Corporate taxes. Alcohol tax. Cig tax. Fuel tax. Customs duties. Airline tax. More to it than income tax.

    Really funny now isn't it?

Gun Control in FY 2023 Omnibus Appropriations

Massive 14.1% ATF Budget Increase to Facilitate Biden’s Pistol Ban
$14.4 Million for ATF’s NTC Budget to Maintain it’s Illegal Near-Billion Record Gun Registry
$700+ Million in Funding Available to Bribe States to Pass “Red Flag” Gun Confiscation Laws
Directing VA Medical Centers to Utilize Confiscation Orders on Vulnerable Veterans
Department of Education to Push “Safe Storage” of Parents’ Firearms
Funding for VA to Maintain “Gun Storage Maps” to Keep Tabs on Where Veterans Keep Guns
New Annual Compensation for Families of Deceased ATF Agents Could be an Indication of Upcoming Gun Confiscation
Gun Control Earmarks for “Orchid Healing Circles” and More!
Dickey Violations Galore While CDC Suppresses Self-Defense Statistics
Programs Discouraging Women from Exercising their Second Amendment Rights
    Anti-Gun “Community Violence Intervention” Initiatives
“Violent Anti-Government Ideology” and “Domestic Radicalization Research”
It is an outrage that any legislator sworn to uphold the Constitution and the Second Amendment would even consider passing a 4,155-page $1.7 trillion appropriations bill with so many gun control provisions. Our Founding Fathers would be ashamed. Each gun control must be struck from any final government appropriations package in order to respect the Second Amendment and eliminate opposition from gun owners.

Something else to consider is that of the 148 million tax filers, the bottom 50% pay effectively no income tax. 3% vs 97%.

The top 1% pay 38% of all income taxes.

I wonder if moving to read this bill before voting on it would effectively amount to a filibuster.
