The US sending troops (or better yet, some cruise missiles) to destroy the cartels is a foreign war I could get behind.

Let me know when AstraZeneca, Daiichi Sankyo, Reckitt Benckiser, Hospira,
Pfizer, J&J, and the Moderna labs are flattened first along with all the people that conspired with the cartels to bring their products here in the first place.

I would much rather go after the root of the problem.

Last I saw in the press the cartel shot down a few army helicopters. 25 vehicle cartel convoy engaged some Blackhawks.This isn't the cocaine cowboys of Miami circa the 1980's. The cartel has billions in their budget.

<edit> I just looked it up, PV isn't very far from there, just down the coast aways. They're going to a big annual AA convention there, with thousands of Americans and others flying in from all over. Big target.

I would too, but they look forward to this as soon they get on the plane to leave the last one, and they buy tickets to the next year's convention as soon as they come available. I've made her and one of the others aware, but they're not canceling for nothing.
