They will have a time stamp.
Add your driver's license in the picture and it should definitely help.
Not sure if it will meet the definition of "burden of proof" but we should have a record anyways.
I think that's always a good idea and not just with firearms. Other valuable too. Keep pics on a thumb drive in your safe or a place you may need to provide LE in the event of theft or to insurance.

In light of Bruen, I just can't figure out how these states keep doing this?

Maybe because their is no recourse against legislators on things like this?

I was under the impression that it had to be stated in the bill the need for immediate action, guess I was wrong.

Need some recourse to these legislators that keep trying to undermine the constitution. If it’s the correct kind, then this stuff will stop.

Because no one yet has been charged with treason. I hope that will change one day.

I agree as the bill version we have seen was probably not ready for prime time. However, documenting your firearms and tracking down some receipts is never a bad idea, even in a free state.

If the state wants to come document my grandfathered firearms they are welcome to try. Otherwise, everything I have, I have always had. It is the state's job to prove me guilty. If there isnt evidence of the purchase pre-law, then how can it be determined that I broke the law?

I guess that is a line for me. If I end up like the Jan 6th defendees, then I will be the poster boy for you guys to fight the state.

Easy way to not stress about this, or any other proposed or existing law.

Step 1. Does said or proposed law align with a plain text lay persons reading of the Second Amendment to the Constitution of These United States?

Step 2. If it does Not align, disregard said or proposed law and try to ignore all conversions about it going forward.

Step 3. If said or proposed Gun law does indeed align with the Second Amendment to the Constitution of These United States shrug and get back to doing whatever you were doing before you found out said or proposed law.
