Disregarding and ignoring existing law is how one ends up incarcerated, regardless of your feelings about the Constitutional legality of that law.

Jails have plenty of "sovereign citizens" in them.

Yes, this bill is a "wish list" of everything they want. It's likely to be watered down when it comes up for debate. The issue of having to prove ownership of a firearm that a person has owned for decades is problematic and opponents of the bill are likely to point that out.

Stop pointing out the unconstitutional parts for them to fix.

Leaving in that language makes it easier for the courts to kill.

They won't water it down at all. Colorado government is as liberal as it gets. They will pass it in full and let the courts decide how much sticks. Then they'll fight that too.

In the time between the bill being signed and the potential overturning by the courts, President Polis may be in his second term.

That is why he will sign it.

I am not a sovereign citizen, Its just that I swore an oath to support and defend the Constitution. I did not see an expiration date on that deal, or an exemption to disregarding it if some legislators, foreigners, or my neighbors tried to subvert the Constitution while using the legal and political framework to destroy it from within. The freedom thieves can only take what you willingly give away.
