As Men is normal to not have as much empathy or emotions for someone/something you are not in any way connected to. Distant events = distant feelings, also the ages of the people involved likely dampen the impact of all of this. I for one expect violence at large gatherings, parties, and holidays, of course not all do. It is sad the way those people died. If you were personally affected by any of those murders, my condolences.

Well I do feel compassion for those lives lost................. but unfortunately the Dems/Socialists politicize every single event like this to push their agenda.

Folks, I could be wrong, but I think the post was in semi-jest and a direct reference to this post in the other, recent, CA shooting in the news:

I am 100% for gun rights but I this shows how 'common place' this crap has become. We jump to the defend gun ownership, find blame for the perp (as we should), but ignore the victims.

I think that sucks. Just my 2 cents worth.
