just about 12 hrs later and on yahoo's main page the only thing "trending" is 1/2 way down the page, about the scorpion unit being disbanded. No more top of the page stories, op-ed's etc. Granted, as more info comes out articles will pop up again. Even the latest shooting in a trendy neighborhood in ca has vanished. A story about jay leno's garage being cancelled is higher up the "story page"

Wapo has 3 blurbs at the top, nyt, 1 with the rest dedicated to everything but.

Notice the Asian hate crime shootings" in ca have literally disappeared. Once again a karcrashian gets more print.

And with oscar nominations coming out, even they'll get dropped lower. Unless one of them, SURPRISE! shows her tits, again.

When I think of a scorpion, I thing of an aggressive insect with claws and a large stinger. A very nasty creature.

Why would a police unit, which is supposed to serve and protect the community they work for, want the image of something like a scorpion.

Your right, not a good moniker for a peace keeping organization. On the other hand, crime is rampant there. Almost like someone (insert BLM) caused the policing to be cut back and fail in the past 3 years. Imagine that!
