I did not see any month memberships on the WPGC website but I do know that I cannot afford $650+ (excluding the cost of ammo) to shoot my handguns.

I'm not suggesting WPGC is charging too much, I'm simply referring to my financial situation.

I think the cost is about 30 per month plus the startup fee.

    To much for me.

There are several outdoor options plus the forest. I am on the waitlist at Frontier Sportsmans, hope to get in this spring. Outside only but out to 300 in Falcon and 1000 yds in Fountain. Runs about 100 per your, limited mebership, no lines...

The range in fountain only goes out to 300yds and they won't say when they will finish it. I passed on a membership there last year. I am a member of pueblo west(super nice place) only thing I would change is they don't allow fullauto fire.

Ben Lomand is less than an hour away, 600 yard range, and Auto allowed on the 100 yd rifle range...
Mom's comin' 'round to put it back the way it ought to be.

I gotta agree, I moved to The Springs over 7 years ago from Wichita, KS. Wichita had two nice indoor ranges that were reasonably priced (no membership needed). When we got here I realized there is a dirth of good places to shoot here (outdoor or indoor ... when we first moved here WPGC was still under construction).

No way I could afford WPGC, and I just can't stand shooting at Dragon Mans, but I do have a membership at Frontier (which is not a bad place to shoot and priced well).

$650 a year? Bwahahaha! Do members get happy endings as well?

$15 for how ever long you want for an indoor 15 yard pistol range and 100 yard indoor rifle range. Technically it is for an hour range time, but that only applies if there is a line. I've never had to wait, or have to forfeit a lane. On the other hand, the "membership" that they offer is like $150 for a year and all you get is to pay $10 each time you visit instead of $15.

So that is actually $780 a year if you went every weekend for a year. I suppose if you can afford to shoot several hundred rounds every weekend for a year, you might be able to afford $650 up front for a range, but I certainly can't.

Ha! Pueblo has an indoor pistol range right in City Park. Haven't been there as I can shoot all I want at home, but I just found it interesting that such a "Democrat" town would have a public range in a city park..
