Not the norm for car jacking in this area, at least not YET. I am sorry the mom and daughter had to go through that experience. From the article, it's clear that Josiah McCray, Jurdon Bryant-Beasley, Elrich Haliburton and Nyariee Richardson are pillars of the local community who were just wanting to borrow the vehicle to take their grandmothers to dialysis, with church and community college classes later in the day.

If you shoot the first one, do the rest scatter like roaches, or do they actually press home the attack against an unexpectedly resistive target? Annecdotal data seems to suggest the former rather than the later, but what do you think? Are they really that committed? This gets heatedly debated on other forums.
