One of the greatest men? I don't know that I'd agree with that when the office has seen the likes of Theodore Roosevelt, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, Ronald Reagan, Ulysses S Grant, Abraham Lincoln, John Adams, John Quincy Adams, and of course George Washington. The only thing I can see that he has going for him was his work bringing Habitat for Humanity to the attention of so many other Americans. His reputation for honesty diminishes a bit when you dig further but any man's reputation diminishes when you dig. Bottom line for me is that he didn't do much other than advertising for Habitat.
