Probably an Airbus A320. The plane is all about passenger revenue. Majority of Allegiant fleet is this A/C. Allegiant is an ultra low cost carrier. The criminal probably went home to watch the ADSB.

I'd stop sort of calling this an "explosive device".

It was an explosive "compound" with a fuse. It was a firework and a bunch of other random stuff to look shady in a x-ray.

They said it could "ignite from heat and friction". Ah, I very much doubt that.

Dude wasn't trying to blow up a plane. And if he was, he's a dipshit because what he had wouldn't do it.

They caught a nutcase, not a terrorist.

Its said to have contained a 'granular type of powder concealed' in wax paper and plastic wrap, a criminal complaint stated.

'This granular type of powder is consistent with a commercial grade firework,' the complaint said.

There were also two fuses attached, one of which appeared to be part of the original manufacturing and is used to ignite explosives quickly.?

The other fuse was added later, and burns slower than a quick fuse, officials said adding that the powders could ignite from heat and friction posing a 'significant risk' to the plane and passengers.

Investigators also found in the suitcase a can of butane, a lighter, a pipe with white powder residue, a wireless drill and two GFCI outlets taped together.?

    Default Bye Mom!

They are all nutcases. The "bomb" still could have downed the plane. One of the most infamous cases was right here in Colorado. The man blew up his mother!

Only if he crawled into the cargo bay somehow and lit it.

FWIW, I tracked my bag with a tile from the front seat i(1L) n a 777 to wherever it was in the baggage hold for an 11+ hour flight to Tokyo. Since they container load everything, I suspect it was in the front. That's just normal Bluetooth... I
