A notarized list of serial numbers of all firearms you currently own. Otherwise how do you prove you owned them before the ban?

I don't have sales receipts for everything.

YOU are the first responder. Police, fire and medical are SECOND responders.
When seconds count, the police are mere minutes away...

That seems like a really good idea. Or maybe a separate notarized document for each firearm, so you don?t have to disclose your entire inventory if a single firearm is called into question. (Although that would require a lot of paper and notary fees for some)

How about another state picked out to relocate there? Gotta say, the thought has crossed my mind...

Well, proof of ownership is no longer in the text, so I think pictures of the SN (has a date stamp) should be enough.

I'd buy a few receivers...AR and maybe AK if you're into rolling your own. Maybe some of the stripped lower pistol frames.

I'm tellin' ya... The relocating thing is apparently on a lot of people's minds. I just saw something on a news channel that for the first time in...maybe forever...people are leaving CO in droves. Most cited the political climate and congestion as the reasons.

I would just write the State Senator of your district expressing your views. I remember having a few politicians being recalled over this ploy to bring unconstitutional legislation. Defeatism is not on my agenda.

Good triggers for anything that currently has a mil spec trigger. All springs, pins, etc. A few extra barrels. Suppressor compatible muzzle devices so current suppressors can mount to all applicable guns that currently don't have them. More mags for everything, because I think our era of ignoring that is done for. Buffers and springs. A few extra tubes. BCGs and additional firing pins on top of those.

It's definitely on my mind lately. I've been here 12 years and never thought I would leave, but this BS is getting out of hand.

That was/is me. Moved to CO in ‘95 and thought it was my forever state. Miss the state but not the BS.
