A good rule of thumb is bring 200 rounds for an outdoor match and 100 for an indoor match. That way you wont run out/low.

This Sunday PPPS will host a six stage IPSC/USPSA match.

All the $$$ we collect will go straight to Deputy Micha Flicks family. There will also be a donation jar there as well.

Micah is survived by his wife and 7-year-old twins. He was a native of Colorado Springs and graduated from Colorado Springs Christian School. Born Aug. 20, 1983. His current assignment was as a detective in the investigations division and he has served in the jail at CJC's floor security and court and transport with the Special Response Team and on patrol.

Deputy Scott Stone was a five-year veteran assigned to patrol. He was wounded by gunfire and is currently in stable condition at Memorial Hospital.

Detective Sgt. Jacob Abendshan is a 16-year veteran. He was wounded by gunfire and has been released from the hospital.

Lots of fun yesterday. Lots of tough shooting, actually had to aim quite a bit.

Our squad had a forum member get together. There was 5-6 forum members on the same squad.

And I even decided to break out my revolver for the match. Forgot how hard it is to shoot 140-150 rounds DAO at small targets as fast as you can.

With the snow in the forecast, we decided to cancel. Not just for snow on the range, but snow on the roads getting to the range.

Hopefully we will see you in April.
