John Bandimere was on with Peter Boyles today. He said they have had four noise complaints in the last decade.

He said they are moving because they need more room.

Unspoken but implied is that land is worth a fortune to developers.

I didn't listen to the entire interview because about 15 minutes of Peter Boyles is all I can take.

Maybe the next gen doesnt want to run a racing venue and wants to cash in on the investment grandpa made 65 years ago.

Has nothing to do with Karens and all to do with money.

I’m very familiar with this situation and my brother has been dealing with the Bandimere family for years on their financial side. It’s 100% about the money. The noise is a non issue.

Whatever- If the Karens haven't impacted there operation much before now, the writing is on the wall with hundreds of houses going up right across 470 from their parking lot. It's actually surprising the property would be worth that much (compared to other Front Range lots), since its not flat, immediately abuts a major highway, and is sandwiched against the ridge.
The vagrants of Boulder welcome you...

*Caterpillar makes things to remedy that in no time.

***Being jammed up against a rock isn't so bad. Look at Red Rocks Country Club, just south of there. Plenty of high dollar homes sandwiched against a ridge.

Buffalobo may be on to something, although maybe it is John Jr. that wants to cash out and provide for the next several generations of his family.

He seems like that kind of guy.

Hasn't the city been after them pretty hard for not following covid rules? And sure, maybe they've had 4 noise complaints but you can be guaranteed people at the city level been talking about it.

I don't see noise being any problem within 4 or 5 years. polis is going to mandate that everything on wheels use green electric power. They're are quieter than gasoline or nitro bangs.
I'm saying that only partly joking. I can't think of much anything else as evil in the eyes of libs except maybe things used for defending yourself.

Building an electric drag car is tough. The batteries are a weighty problem.

The fast ones are now breaking 200 mph and hitting mid 7's. Still a long ways from 11000 hp and mid 3's at 380 mph.

Like others have said, I sincerely hope they are just going to relocate and rebuild something bigger and better with more land allowing for greater facilities than they have today.... They certainly cannot expand where they are today. Time will tell.
