Default Butler Creek Flip Open Scope Covers

I read their webpage, measured my eye and objective pieces, ordered, came in, and.... wrong size! Either I suck at measuring or their posted sizes are not right. So, now I get to wait another few weeks...

Upon further inspection I realize that I am indeed an idiot. In very small/fine print it says to measure using a caliper/micrometer, neither of which I own anyways. I used a good old ruler! HA.

So I had to guess and I upped the objective one from what I ordered and the eye piece two sizes... which might now need to be three after some other stuff I've been looking at.

Scope is a Luepold Mark 2 3-9x40mm if anyone has sage words or experience on hte size of covers.

    Try this:

Should tell you what you're looking for!

Tried that my friend. Says, "Sorry, nothing found that matches your request" even though they have teh scope listed. HAHA.

Did find the same specs for a different "model" scope though...

Seems like I need 11 and 26. I was right on the 26, but I guess I'll be sending back the 9 I just ordered then... Grrrrr..

Hmm, the only other option I can think of (and what I did) was to take the rifle in to a Sportsman's Warehouse and fit them onto the scope before purchasing. They usually have a decent selection on hand and were very helpful to me.

i had the same issue. my advice is to go to bass pro, pick up the size you think you want, try it out, if it doesn't work return it for a larger size. i did this three times before i found the right one, and it was painless

Uh oh. I just ordered two of these last night. After measuring my scope with a tape measure! Hopefully they'll fit.
