No, not Mec-Gar vs. Wilson or anything like that.

    Paper magazines.

It seems they all have both on-line and paper versions. I have not subscribed to anything in years, yet still get the NRA and the free one from Springfield.

I am thinking it may be worth the low rates they are charging, just to have something new to read in the morning... if you get my drift.

Anyone still subscribe to them? What are your favorites?

American Handgunner and Guns are my favorites, but also like Handloader. You can sometimes get a combo deal on the first two when you subscribe.

One day I will find “AK-47 Magazine” on the shelves again at Walmart……

It was Car Audio and Electronics back in the 90’s and early 2000’s.

    Nothing of interest since then.

Kind of off your subject, but "printed" gun magazines may disappear sooner than you think. Too many on-line/digital options that are cheaper than printed stuff.

Nothing like picking up one of those late 40's-60's American Rifleman magazines and reading it cover to cover. Different times!

I still like Backwoods Home. There is usually one firearms article, but living in the country, there are several articles that are interesting.

Hot rod mags are the only ones I still buy.

I get Bugle from RMEF, The Colorado Bowhunter from the Colorado Bowhunters Assoc, GCA Journal from the Garand Club, and Turkey Call from the National Wild Turkey Federation. Guess I still get the NRA magazine. Used to get the Horse Backstreet Choppers and a couple others. I can barely get through 1 or 2 of these mags a month.

I've had Guns & Ammo for the last few years and I like theirs. It's longer than almost all the others that have made their total content very short or gone to quarterly magazines. Peterson's Hunting is another good one I look forward to.

I use to get a few different magazines, like popular science, G&A, and other technical stuff. Stopped them all a few years ago, took me that long to realize i hade issues

I quit buying magazines years ago. With pretty much anything and everything available online these days having physical items that just take up space seems pretty pointless to me.

I was a long time subscriber to Shotgun News though. Back when SKS rifles could be had for $49 or less, Makarov pistols were under $150, and good brass 9mm ammunition was ten cents a round.
