Wife Says Buy More Ammo!!

After my wife and I went shooting last Monday, she asked me if we had enough ammo in case SHTF. My answer was yes, if things started happening fairly soon, like within the next couple of months. But if we need to wait another year, no we don?t and still be able to practice.
So she said that it is okay to divert some discretionary funds into stocking up on reserve ammo on top of what we use for practice.
I love my wife.

After minimizing and standardizing my collection, my wife actually has more guns than me right now... and she occasionally asks if we have enough ammo. Unfortunately we live in a studio apartment... some of our friends have literal pallets in their garage.

I told her we have plenty of range ammo, and enough HP to reload all our mags a few times. Filled the pantry and stocked up on medical supplies though.

I've never understood having thousands and thousands of rounds of ammo. Yhea, you should have a decent starter supply, but if you're really going to get into that many shootouts after a SHTF scenario, after every shootout one of two things will happen:

You'll get their ammo, or, well, figure it out.

This is my real fear, not so much urban combat.
