Colorado Springs shooters, how do you like DCF Guns now?
It's been almost a year since DCF Guns took over Whistling Pines. I'm curious to learn what you WP members think of the new ownership.
Anyone?

December 2022: God bless America! Long live the republic!!!
Pros and cons to the new ownership. All but one of the cool guys left because they couldn’t stand the new owners. They’re very sales focused now. Not a criticism exactly, they are in the business of selling guns. When it was WP, it seemed like they were content making money on memberships and were selling gear almost as a side job. I knew all the employees by name and quite a large number of the members. Now I go in there and it’s much more crowded, and I don’t know anyone.
It still serves its purpose for me, but I enjoy it less.

My year membership renewed a few days before the sale. It expired a few weeks ago and I didn't re-up.
Everything Tim K said, plus I really dislike their scheduling software.
Never complain; never explain.
My Feedback
There scheduling "software" is now completely non-functional. They changed software/website and nothing on it works. Been out for months, doesn't seem to be a priority to get it functional. Weekends are kind of a zoo. Guys with their girlfriends shooting an AR at a target 10 yards away doing mag dumps, and this is in the pistol range. No target backers, so bring your own cardboard. Most of the employees are friendly, a few are grumpy. Otherwise a nice place to shoot.
