how would i chang my ar15 to an ar10? Would i have to change the upper and the lower? would that be cheaper or shoul i just go buy an ar10? THANKS

Everything is different. About the only parts that interchange is the trigger group and some other small parts here and there. Most all else is bigger and more expensive.

Get a complete DPMS rifle if you want a 308.

They are completely different, ;ower and upper, bolt, LPK, it is all different.

Controls, function and design are similar but scale and parts are not.

Thanks for the info guys. That was what i thought. So what caliber can i change my AR too just by changing my upper only.

I think aims has the 5.45 uppers in stock. If you want some more power I think the 6.8spc is a great round between the .223 and the .308
