Default Camping in the slow lane

It is speed that kills or idiot drivers?

I was feeling perfectly safe cruising along in the slow lane at 125-130mph..

speed + idiot drivers is what kills, and not necessarily the idiot driver, which is the sad part.

Whatcha driving? looks like a special hood so probably something capable of going way faster than 125-130mph

Deviation from the average speed is what causes accidents. There’s an argument to be made that idiot drivers are the deviants in either direction.

One could argue that traveling at triple digit speeds while using your phone to take a photo isn't a smart move. When I was headed to Houston the other day at 140, I didn't give a damn where my phone was.

    Probably a valid argument…

But I so love the lane discipline in DE.

The nice thing about Colorado is that you can travel at altitudes and at speeds that you?d usually need a Cessna for?

I have no issue with the OP's post but man, if that's camping, remind to never go camping with him.

In his defense, the FAST LANE campers were probably doing 1.5 mph over the posted limit.

    And not budging.

I believe it was GK that recently said something along the lines of:
The right lane is the new fast lane...

No worries - and no need to defend the OP. As I said, I have no issue with what he said he did; it's just that going that speed on a public road would require me to be wearing Depends as I'd surely sh!t myself.

Of course, I did pass a guy yesterday from the right lane @ 100mph. He'd been up and down on his speed, went below the speed limit for a bit before a passing lane came, then @ the passing lane immediately moved to that lane to block the guy in front of me from using it to pass him. It was a single lane each direction state hwy with a 1/2-3/4 mile passing zone. So I zoomed past (he sped up 20mph when he noticed me moving up). As soon as the passing zone ended I was well past and he slowed way down again. I looked back and saw he had 6 cars behind him. It was a power and control game for him. I took that away from him for me. He wasn't pleased.
