    Pardon my ignorance here, but I don't get this thread at all.

    Given that I'm totally in the dark and not a sports fan, I'm guessing that this has something to do with that Bowl game or Championship game or whatever it was that was played last night.

    Am I on the right track?

    Yes Ginsue. The National Championship for Collegiate Football, the "Rose Bowl", was on last night. The two teams were UT (University of Texas) and Alabma. Great game. I was rooting for TX but oh well, can't win them all. The starting QB for TX was injured in the first quarter and the backup was a true freshman (not many games under his helmet, etc). It was a really good game. I'll admit though that I only watched it for the band coverage during halftime... HAHA.

    see but if you apply Obama's logic to Sports as he does Health Care or Money or anything that would set others apart from the rest, he would like to take the best players from Alabama, Florida, GT etc. etc. and give them to the shitty teams...like CU and UNC so they can all be equal.

    It would be like taking Derek Jeter and giving him to the Rockies but the Yankees still have to pay his salary.

    I wish everyone could hear and understand this example and use it to understand what he is doing with health care, taxes, money etc. etc.
    All I have in this world is my balls and my word and I don't break em for no one.

    And Obama wins the Heisman.....

    Still it is a little bit confusing and annoying that we have so many Bowl games and then there are still indefeated teams that don't get to play for th NAT. Champ.

    But I love to see the game go on, and I think Base ball season is Waaaayyyy to long.
    and all the B Ball freaks have turned it into a Nat. GangBanger association.

    guess you could also say that about a # of NFL players as well..

    But college football runs more plays, has alot more action, and it's not so much about the ME personality,, yet...
