I've been thinking about this thread since it was started.

Yes, he was an exceptionally very odd person, and while I can't speak to his proclivities or lifestyle, I must confess that I really enjoyed Pee Wee's Big Adventure. Back in 1985, this is the sort of totally goofy movie we needed and it satisfied an appetite for stupid humor I didn't know I needed at the time.

Regardless of his lifestyle choices, cancer is a very nasty way to go out. May he rest in peace.

I was unaware of the computer pics. I knew he was caught "playing with his popcorn" in an adult theater.

Still liked his off beat humor. Guess it's like liking Bill Cosby for his humor, not his lifestyle.

Reubens was booked after police said they found evidence of "erotic images" in his art collection in his Hollywood Hills home. (It's unclear if those images depicted the above-mentioned 17-year-old.) Authorities seized the collection, as well as his personal computers, saying they had obtained 30,000 images total. The offending images were found in one book, 25 magazines, and one film, according to the motion filed by his legal team, as reported by BBC.

My boys used to watch Peewee's playhouse when they were small. I was kind of hoping he wold do Miss Yvonne, but then, he's Peewee.

I liked Pee Wee's Playhouse on Saturday mornings. I was usually exhausted by Friday, went to bed early, and woke up early Saturday and usually turned on cartoons and made pancakes. I thought was wrong when the network pulled his show at the first allegation. I wondered what happened to the due process I'd heard so much about. Like "cancel culture" before that was a thing.

About Ms.Yvonne, his show thrived on double entendre as did his movies. If his show aired today nobody would bat an eye. I doubt people would care about the porn. He had a good run. Best he called it quits when he did.
