    Wow, depends on the policy.
    You should start by asking your agent, if you trust him/her/them/they.
    If you don't trust your agent, it might be time to look for another.
    A long time ago, I had a similar situation, and the coverage I was paying big time for did cover all the family, including the assigned risk individual, in any car they drove.

    Correct- We will be discussing with USAA, but it's good to get other people's experiences. The key item is him moving from an occasional to frequent operator of her vehicle.
