This service seems to be for you to generate a label to ship to a FFL, but still has you take it to the UPS customer care center. Has anyone used this service since UPS implemented their new policy.

UPS accepts packages containing Firearm Products for shipment only as a contractual service and only from Shippers who are licensed importers, licensed manufacturers, licensed dealers, or licensed collectors (as defined in Title 18, Chapter 44 of the United States Code) to authorized recipients, as outlined in the approved UPS agreement for the transportation of Firearm Products.

To transport packages containing Firearm Products, the Shipper must enter into an approved UPS agreement for the transportation of Firearm Products.

Ship my gun, Yes, I?ve used it. When you take it to the counter with a label already on it they don?t seem to ask as many questions. I just dropped it off and asked for a scanned in receipt to show they received it.

I used to use a local FFL to ship handguns because they could ship them priority mail, cheaper than overnight or 2nd day like UPS and FedEx were requiring. He charged the priority mail plus $25, typically worked out to about $45-$50.
