Default Ballpark cost to move a gun safe ~ 100 miles?

We are looking to relocate from Littleton to Pueblo West some time before the end of the year. We have a Liberty Fatboy Jr. gun safe that we want to take with us.

When we moved from Englewood to Littleton in 2017, IIRC it cost around $350 to have the safe moved and transported down 1/2 flight of stairs. It will obviously need to go back up that 1/2 flight and we're planning on our new house being a ranch so no stairs there.

Does anyone know of an approximate, ballpark cost to move a safe 100 miles? Just for planning purposes so we know how much to set aside.

    Thanks in advance!

Hire someone to get it bak up the stairs, in to a truck, or trailer. Then hire someone down there to move it in. That drive to and from is going to $$$ you.

If you are going to use a moving service check with them. When we moved in 2020 a safe service quoted $800 to pick them up and move the 40 miles. That was driveway delivery- they wanted $200 each to move them into the house.
    Uhmm, no.
Our moving service charged us $150 each.

Yep... That's exactly what I did. Cost for loading and unloading a safe by a safe company was in the area of $600. I hired a local moving crew (along the lines of 2 Men and a Truck) to load all my stuff at the old house, including the safe and a...let's just say "substantial" amount of ammo...and another at the new house to unload. It was still about $500 total but I also had almost all of my stuff loaded and unloaded.
