Yep, mine's $40 a month. $480 a year that offsets what small pay raise I did get. Add that to the higher property tax and property insurance rates I was just hit with, higher interest rates, higher car insurance rates, gas, food, etc. Just lovely. Ready to move.

Case in point, was listening to am radio this morning and they were talking about hh, which is passed will finally take away TABOR refunds for a small rate drop to property taxes, but the small rate of property taxes won't offset what we stand to lose by losing TABOR refunds. All for the children, of course.
Laws aren't "preventable" measures. IOW, more gun laws won't stop mass shootings.
My boss, after fighting his property tax increase, and losing, is now planning to sue, and then move.
Way to go, whichever tax base he belonged to.

Doh! I guess I wasn't being too smart considering it's a percentage. They only just started collecting it in August. Corp is 15K heads, headquartered in Chicago so I don't know if it just took that long or that's when it was supposed to start.
Pay is every 2 weeks. They also lump our quarterly incentive bonus into a regular pay stub (this was not one) where we used to get a separate payroll cut. I'm past the age I wanted to retire, so maybe my pay's not so great for a 62 yo Enterprise IT guy, I dunno.

Somehow this fee vs. tax prevarication has to be fairly adjudicated based on simple logic. Obviously, the CO supreme court is unable to see beyond it's raw partisan goals of conquest. Is there an avenue to the U.S Supreme Court?
