Hard to believe it happened 22 years ago. Most of the kids in school & college today weren't even born yet. Politics aside, I wonder how schools today honor or remember 9-11 in the classroom.
Like you said, never forget.
Don't forget Benghazi.
Wow! Only two replies this year. Sad.
I got back into town yesterday. My Aunts birthday is 9/11. Sucks for her. That was my focus this year.
Never forget.

I watched a lot of the 9/11 documentary shows and it sure brought back the same feelings as if it just happened yesterday. Seeing a lot of the survivor stories really brings those feelings back beg time. Seems like they keep coming up with more and new video footage and some of it is just hard to watch.
God rest those souls that were directly impacted.
Laws aren't "preventable" measures. IOW, more gun laws won't stop mass shootings.
Yesterday, I asked my stepdaughter (7) if she knew what it was all about, and she didn't. We watched a National Geographic show on the South Tower, and a couple others. She later told us that she was having lots of feelings during it all (sadness, anger, the whole lot). I think she's still a bit young to fully grasp it all, but it's progress.
Meanwhile, it seems like each year I hear some new tale of heroism (new to me at least). This year there were two:

Rick Rescorla, who disobeyed orders to stay put and saved over 2000 people: https://twitter.com/RealSpikeCohen/s...92725851173171
