From what I hear, even though Israel is raining hell on areas of the Gaza strip, they are also offering humanitarian aid to the Palestinians, knowing supplies will be cut to many innocents.

Thats a great example of the different mind-sets of these 'combatants'. Basically, Good vs Evil.

My kids' school sent out an email yesterday afternoon stating that their homeland security contacts informed them of a "heightened security alert" for today.

The school already has a large chuck of the staff armed and also has pepper ball pistols in biometric safes in classrooms and offices, but they increased security for today on top of that. They ain't playin'.
