Default Next issue: need a plumber to re-set a toilet in Wheatridge.

Developing a small leak on the bottom, pretty sure I need a new wax ring.
I have seen it done before but I am worried about over torquing the bolts an cracking the actual toilet and then I'm deep in the shit...
    I was quoted $379!
    Is that the going rate?
Any good plumber you would recommend?

There's a newer system that is far superior to wax rings and won't rot out. It's in the same plumbing aisle at HD or Lowes. Really an easy DIY job.
