Avalanche Season

I just printed out my schedule to hang on the refrigerator.

I like to watch the Avs, but as my 11 year old would say the best thing about the avalanche starting is the eagles start this week. Probably take him to the sports bar to watch the season opener Friday, then we already got tickets to half the home games for him. He is a hockey addict. Wants to be a ref when he grows up.

My son is a huge fan. We try to go to one or two games a year, and went to the watch party at the can when they closed out the Stanley Cup in 2022.

Didn't watch much of opener last night, but I see this a.m. that they went on to kick butt last night. Nice way to start the season.

I pretty much quit watching football when all of the kneeling for the national anthem stuff was going on.

I enjoy baseball but rooting for the Rockies can be a tough pill to swallow since the organization doesn?t care about winning. (Please, Rockies fans, quit supporting them financially. If the only way for the owners to make money is to put a winning team on the field then that?s what they?ll do.)

That leaves me with hockey. As long as the Avalanche continue to want to win and put a competitive team on the ice then I?ll proudly support and follow them. Go Avs!
