    Default Southbound I-25 closed at MM/Exit 110.

Train derailment/bridge collapse at MM 110. Sadly news reports a trucker was killed when the bridge collapsed onto his truck towing a propane tank. CDOT/CSP diverting southbound traffic at Exit 110 to Old Pueblo Highway. Northbound traffic diverted at Highway 50 to Highway 115 to Colorado Springs. What a mess.

And we had a dip Sh*t employee that tried to go south on I-25 to Hwy-50 East and not only missed all the radio news stating that I-25 was closed down there, but also missed all the gigantic digital message boards over the highway saying the same thing.

I got caught up in that mess Sunday leaving the range.

Sunday evening southbound could still turn off at exit 108. I guess that was too easy.

Don't fret. Train derailments are soon to be a thing of the past.

The Colorado State Government is gonna pass some new laws!

    https://www.trains.com/trn/news-revi...r-regulations/

If approved by the Transportation Legislation Review Committee, the bill will be introduced in the state’s 2024 legislative session beginning in January. It limits train lengths to 8,500 feet; requires wayside equipment detectors every 10 to 15 miles; prohibits stopped trains from blocking grade crossings for more than 10 minutes; and requires railroads to offer training to first responders along rail routes where hazardous materials are transported.

Only the Federal Railroad Administration and Surface Transportation Board have the authority to regulate rail operations, why let that stop 'em?
