An interesting commentary on this shooting--3 people killed, and it's barely news. Not on the top of any local news websites at all, just 3 days later. We know who was killed. We know who did the killing. Simply a shrug of the shoulders and like was said above--avoid Montbello....

Not newsworthy but you can bet it will fall under mass shooting statistics. When you see some gun control agenda being pushed and they mention something like 300 plus mass shootings every year things like this are why.

Spree shootings remain fairly rare.

Mass shootings are typically gang or drug related.

"School shootings" can be anywhere within a block of a school, even at 0200, and they count BB gun injuries as well.

"Gun death" statistics are half suicides.
