I received an email today from Ian Escalante, the new Director of Operations with Rocky Mountain Gun Owners.

My name is Ian Escalante, and I am very excited to announce that I recently joined the Rocky Mountain Gun Owners team as the new Director of Operations!
It is with great honor that I join the front lines to defend the God-given rights of gun owners, like you.
I have spent several years involved in the political arena, including more than three years at Young Americans for Liberty, running grassroots operations across the South, Southwest, and Midwest.
As a young person, I am highly concerned about the assault on our constitutional rights from the communist left, especially right here in the Centennial State.
Our right to keep and bear arms is the last line of defense against full-scale tyranny.
For this reason, not only did our founders give us the Second Amendment, but the framers of the Colorado Constitution held the same sentiment.
Article 2 Section 13 of the Colorado Constitution states that no person?s right to keep and bear arms ?shall be called in question.?
For far too long, ?conservatives? and phony ?pro-gun? groups have either failed to fight against the attack on our rights or, in some cases, outright pushed gun control.
This cannot stand!
Gun owners like you and I have been shafted long enough.
The time to fight back is right now!
My objective as Director of Operations at RMGO is to hold spineless politicians accountable for their complacency or participation in gun-grabbing schemes.
Real political power is forcing politicians to vote the way you want and replacing them when they don?t.
It?s time for patriots across Colorado to start raising a holler and saying, ?Enough is enough.?
