Charges involving police officers and other parties related to falsely acquiring "machineguns and other restricted firearms. From the article, Larry Vickers pleaded guilty yesterday to participating in the conspiracy to import and obtain machineguns and other restricted firearms and admitted that he received some of the imported machineguns and other weapons. Vickers also pleaded guilty to a conspiracy to violate U.S. sanctions against a foreign firearms manufacturer between July 2014 and March 2021

Yeah, he played the SOT as a hobby game and lost. The sanctions thing was his AK-12 parts kit that he imported and built in to a rifle. Russian imports were banned at the time. People are still playing the AK-12 parts import game.

Wonder what every happened to all of the firearms that were confiscated from him by the ATF a year or so ago. He had some pretty rare stuff, would hate to think it all ends up in the crusher some day.

Former Delta Force guy, runs Vickers Tactical, has published numerous books, has had TV shows on Sportsman Channel and has a Youtube channel where he has posted numerous videos on various firearms types including his AK-12 that has gotten him in hot water.

Anyway, must have had some haters that got the Feds after him.

In addition he is on the right side of a major health battle-sad to see him go down like this. Too many people feel the rules don’t apply. I took a 1911 class with him quite awhile ago and it was excellent. I felt he was a really great instructor.

Yeah, he lost a bunch or weight a couple years back and also went through cancer treatment.

I'm reading the book 'Burglars in Blue' about the big bust of Denver PD Cop burglars in the early 1960's. It's written by one of the cops sent to the pen in this case. He mentions things like grabbing a few bucks at a crime scene or packs of cigs at an investigation was kind of considered part of the perks of the job and no big thing. Having a safe fall out of your car while being chased by a Police car, in the middle of the night, that's a big thing.

Different Crime, different Time but they broke the law, and they knew it. He sounds like a good guy, hope it goes well for him.
