    Default Snap-On Tools

I have a twenty year old box I am moving and the drawer slides spit the ball bearings all over the floor.

I tried to order a new set and the website told me to call. So I did.

Turns out, their slides are covered under the lifetime warranty and the lady is sending me two new kits for free.

I was pleasantly surprised with the whole deal. New slides for free, someone from America answering the phone as soon as it rang and handling it with no questions asked.

A multi-billion dollar company taking care of a customer quickly and efficiently... I wasn't aware that still existed.

Snap-on has a great reputation based on the quality and service. You do pay for it in the beginning, but sometimes, as is your case, it's a price worth paying! Cheers for great customer service!

Better than buying a new box. I know a guy that is about to dump $40K+ on a new setup.

There is certainly tool snobbery out there but when I walk into a shop and see a guy that has a huge Snap-On box, I know that guy is a committed professional.

    Or a sucker.

I got a deal on my box since it is a limited edition, 80th anniversary (1920-2000). It also is 40" wide with a top and bottom. Most guys want the bench style these days.

In 2002 my dealer came in and asked if I was still interested in it. It was taking up space in his garage. He told me if I bought the bottom box, he'd give me the top box.

    Sold.

I used to think their stuff was overpriced and for suckers. But I’m not buying off the truck.

I bought my 1st box (KRL 7022) off a guy at a dealership that was switching to built in standarized. He basically begged me to buy it and it was pennies on the dollar compared to new. Had to replace a slide and I called SO and they sent me free new ones.

Bought an EPIQ in a similar situation and also got free new slides.

Had a problem with a couple of other tools I bought off fleabay and again, a call to SO and they were fixed free.

I’m not a professional but I like their stuff - and have a mix of other makes including Harbor Freight.

Snap-On Tools. Weren't they one of the sponsors of this year's Lesbian Convention?
