No, no. I have nothing against AAC at all! I just have read about good things with Gemtech, know a few folks with them, talked to them on the phone, seem to be nice, etc. I have no experience with AAC, so no opinion. I do not know anyone who has one. That's all. lol.

AAC makes pretty pretty solid cans. There are much better options other than Gemtech though. Better as in lighter and quieter.

Talk to me Hoser... As stated, I have no first hand experience in this field.

Wasn't AAC more expensive though... or was I looking at AWC... grrr.. option, options...

ACC was more expensive, as reflects the quality difference, but I was just checking prices today, and Gemtech seems to be ripping people off by pricing their crap as much as AAC now.

If you want to check out the raw data on weight and actual, tested, sound reduction, you can pay $15 and head on over to www.silencerresearch.com Personally, I don't think I'll pay the money until I'm in the market for a can. There are some free results posted though.

Is it $15 now.. it used to be $30 I think. I may do that, it's been suggested several times. I just don't want to read about it all. I'm a handson person. I would like to get a few different brands and go shooting... I may have to break down though and do the reading.

Oh is it $30? Then it probably still is that much. Sorry about that.
