My bank/credit union told me the same thing. No buyer protection unless you use a credit card. I got the run around from USPS when I used a USPS Money Order. The MO was delivered to a sham addy, the name washed and MO cashed. I had to do a delivery address police report and that was such a pain I walked away. USPS-PIS can suck canal water.
I shoot, therefore I am. Vivere die!
9&45 SW TSW. Only worth good money to SW aficionados.
RIA 1911 in 38 super. Upgraded with some good ignition parts. Not a caliber I want anymore. And the stock sights are not good for my eyes. Fairly sure it will be cheaper overall to sell and buy a 9mm 1911 cut for an optic or just cull and enjoy the other toys.
DSA FAL para SA58. Not a fan of big thumpers anymore.
And some ARs that need to be consolidated and replaced up to the current standards. Cheese grater hand guards, heavy barrels and so forth are relics of the past.

A veteran is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America ' for an amount of 'up to and including my life.'
That is Honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it.
I don't really want to sell any guns, but my wife is retired, I'm unemployed, we're both on SS, and I'm not getting any younger or healthier. Finances are tight. Wife seems to think selling my guns will save us financially, but she's clueless about what they're actually worth. And in reality, I don't need to leave it all for my heirs to deal with.
Rest assured, when I DO decide which ones to sell, I'll post them here first! Most of them CAME from here anyway! Probably going to be mostly milsurp rifles at first. I love my guns, but rarely shoot many of them. There does need to be a thinning of the herd.

Finances are tough for us too, especially after getting hit with a number of unexpected bills and my wife getting laid off (she's driving for Lyft now), so I sold off my knife collection and nearly a dozen guns that just sat in the safe untouched for years... sold most of them for less than they were worth to make a quick sale. Probably one of the better financial decisions I've made... I really am not in a position to collect anymore, and with all the extra ammo they took up a lot of storage space in our small apartment.

Well, you're a trusted member of this forum, and if you loaded them yourself and know you used the proper amount of the correct powder, that seems a lot safer than some random stranger selling plastic milkjugs of reloads at a gun show. Just price them at half of what boxed factory ammo goes for or offer to trade it for something. Everyone wants a few extra ammo cans of rounds to keep in storage, lol.
