What happened to the good old days when police misconduct was rewarded with some time off with pay and the biggest consequence was having to attend sensitivity training?
As long as the news doesn't publish what they do with their nightsticks it seems that many job hop, so I don't know that it's a career ender.
I think what REALLY needs to ramp up on terminations is the judicial. Ran those stats once, and I'd hedge money it's THE most job-secure employment in the entire country. Terminations on the federal judiciary for instance are incredibly low numbers over the last two hundred years combined.
LEO can get fired for simple politics. A judge can get DUI's and stay on the bench overseeing DUI cases, no problem.
Sounds eerie to me. Sounds like Reform, Alabama. It is a city, not a movement.
