Gas prices I-25 & Firestone/Longmont exit

What gives with the 50-60 cents/gal change from morning to evening, and day-to-day?

1.99 at the P66 this morning, 2.14 or 2.15 at the others. Was 2.59 to 2.69 just the other day around sunset.


While not as volatile, there have also been significant changes at the CO52 exit and Dacano.

It's their gas war. There have been articles about it in the news. When they are running low, they up their prices so they don't run out. QT, when they came in, started it. The QT down south, I-25 & Arapahoe has started a little gas war down there.

I inetntionally void it like the plagues. I will go a half mile east to avoid the insanity... a little more $$ but not much.

And the gas wars there are for 85 octane. All other fuel is cheaper a half mile east at Maverick.
