Default Any recommendations for 2024 elk outfitters?

I have been a CO resident for 10 years and been doing public land hunts... 0% success rate for elk or deer. Finally breaking down next year and hoping to do a guided trip preferably on private land. Anyone have personal recommendations for a guide/outfitter service? I don't feel comfortable paying that much money based on online reviews only, so looking for 1st hand experience. ----Looking for likely 2 hunters, 1 guide. My hunting partner and myself are late 30s and fit, but not looking to do 20 miles a day in rough terrain. Prefer a lodge/cabin style accommodations over wall tent camping. Don't care about getting a monster elk or trophy class or anything, just want a good animal and a good time! I've got 6 deer and 9 elk pref points if that matters. Rifle hunting only! Prefer combined deer and elk hunt if possible.
    Thanks in advance!

For what it's worth I archery hunted a unit this past year that only needed 4 points to draw and it was a night and day different experience vs the OTC units I have hunted in the past. I still didn't get an elk but I was on them almost every day and had several opportunities. Ultimately as a self employed person I just couldn't get up enough, I honestly think if I had another day or two I would've been successful.

Points are a funny thing. There are several good units that go for 4 points or less but then there is a gap where your next option may be 9 or 10 points. I think a lot of people waste time saving up a ton of points for a hunt that will never happen rather than hunting a solid unit every few years.

Was close enough to snap this quick pic of a couple satellite bulls sparring while I was positioning to get to a larger bull..

Some people don't like sharing secrets but I don't mind sharing some direction. Have had a lot of luck using the ranching for wildlife opportunities for CO residents. I recommend looking into those for sure. Myself and several people I know have had luck on them every few years, some better than others. Female tags are usually easier to come by than male tags in RFW areas so depends on what you are after. There is actually one that One80 Outfitters does and they are in a RFW unit. I haven't done a paid hunt but have done a cow and bull RFW tag there and they are phenomenal so I can only imagine how they would be on a paid hunt. https://one80outfitters.com/wolf-mountain-ranch/
