Armslist question.

Anybody try to sign up for AL lately? If so how long did it take to finally be granted access? It has been close to a month and my account continues to say pending when I try to contact a seller who is not smart enough to put up a number or email to open his/her/they/them/us/we/whatever?s potential audience of buyers.
It?s frustrating missing some decent items.
Anyone have this issue?

I haven't had that particular issue but Armslist has always been a pain in the ass. It's bad enough to deal with some of the knuckleheads on AL, but you have to deal with incompetent administration of the site as well. I was set up on autopay after it went to a pay service and every month for 4 months I got a notice my account was cancelled for non-payment. I finally really cancelled the account because it just wasn't worth the hassle. If I see something I want now I have someone else with an account contact the seller to contact me...if the seller doesn't have contact info listed.

I maintain "membership" and stop paying when not selling anything and go to free membership. Almost everyone here in MO puts a phone number on it so non-members can see and send a text without being a member. But it didn't take a month when I signed up. It was maybe a couple of days.

I had no problem with the sign up a few months ago, but have not tried to buy or sell anything yet.

I can respond to Businesses but not to private party sales.
It has been saving me money though!
I have not been charged as of yet.

Working for me just fine, I use it mostly to buy stuff from local private parties (and closely watch Wyoming FTF sales, like any responsible gun owner). I've made several excellent deals using it.

Holler if you want to me reach out to a seller for you in the interim.
