STP 2011s from Germany are VERY nice, with an equally impressive (not in a good way) price tag. Best out of the box trigger I've ever felt, but start at about $4600...C'mon Powerball!
    357 PLEASE!!!!!

Pretty much agree 100% with what Cha-Lee said. I've been several times as a normal consumer and it can seem like you are seeing the same ol shit, different label on a lot of the stuff. Some stands out. Best to make a plan to see certain booths, make an agenda. The years I have done that, it has been more enjoyable. Things I have purchased at SHOT. Xproducts flamethrower, Salient Arms GLD shotgun, Pard night vision scope, Grand Power Stribog (actually, was the first person in the U.S to own one that was not a demo or loaner from Grand Power. Helps to have connections. LOL!), got several free pair of Battle Briefs from Tactical Distributors as long as I did a review of them on social media. Turns out, I did a funny video, sent it to them, and they used it on their social media and sent me a big box of stuff for my efforts. It's really nice being able to see stuff that local dealers don't carry so you can see it looks/feels like you were expecting.
The SHOT show crud can be a pretty bad sickness. Last year a bunch of people from the group I was with came back and thought they were going to croak. It's a fun experience.

Yeah, we had/have a plan. Total sensory overload otherwise. Been talking with distributor reps, putting faces to names, establishing new relationships. And looking at the toys. Hopefully I don't get the crud.

I am certain Smith will build a lever gun in .500 Magnum. They will sell thousands of them at $1200.

There is currently only one company making them and they retail at $4500.

I agree, would love to see some nice .38/.357 lever guns to go with my pistols.

NOTE: Just went to the S&W and Ruger web sites to look at their new lever guns.

All I can say is ..... I don't like this trend of taking lever guns and trying to make them "tacti-cool."

Yes, I know plastic is cheaper, but good grief, those things are uglier than Janet Reno in a string bikini.

Agreed, it's against the laws of nature. They do also have them in a more traditional form factor, blued or stainless, with either wood or laminate furniture. The stainless with laminate looks like a good guide gun in .44.

Returned from Shot Show late last night and drove down from DIA into a snowstorm!
Big change from walking all around Las Vegas at night in a T-shirt!

Noted that there wasn't much for ammo at the show.
