I swung by Ass Pro and Thornton Sportsman's this afternoon...

Ass Pro had functionaly zero 9mm and 5.56 only by the grace of a few fresh cases of Winchester LC Green Tip being put on the shelf.

Sportsman's had some fresh WWB 9mm, but pretty much no other brands, and a small amount of .223/5.56.

.22 was well stocked at both.

All I'm reading is news of the conflict between Ukraine and the Rus. This will cause consumers to stock up on NATO type ammo. UK is talking about a conscription system for all males under 60. All the gun shops and scheels up this way have shelves over flowing with ammo. Scheels has a whole aisle filled with 223/556 and whole end caps filled with 9mm. With that said it is all at prices that I wouldn't even contemplate buying at.

Interesting. The guys at Ass Pro and Sportsmans said it's been low stock for a couple weeks, and was light at Cabela's when in was there last week. Maybe Sportsman's on Santa Fe is overflowing- I have no clue. Maybe its worse the closer you get to the Capitol Building?

The only ammo that's hard to find here is .410 stuff. Other than that it's pretty plentiful everywhere. Even Tractor Supply is contemplating getting into the ammo biz.

No............ The Ukraine/Russ thing is old old news, to the point of being dead. The UK has nothing to do with us and they are talking about a war in 20yrs, not 20 minutes. Putin has threatened everyone by now.
If we have an ammo run............ it's because of politics here in the US, not some geo-political excuse.
And that won't happen until we get closer to the election.
