    Socom II has mall ninja written all over it. It's front heavy, and the rails can tear up your hands with extended shooting. The 16" barrel reduces your velocity even more, is louder, and has a greater muzzle flash.

    If your set on the 16" I'd go with the Socom 16. It's balanced much better.

    The socom II is overpriced anyways...
    I've been looking at the whole line, and call me a sucker mall ninja, but that urban camo stock is sweet. I'm up in the mountains so I think that stock would make it a great winter coyote gun, as well as a fun plinker!

    I love the Scout Squad, think they are awesome. I agree that the SOCOM II gives up too much and is too barrel heavy

    Hey man, if you dig the urban camo, that's all your preference.

    But the Socom II sacrifices performance. Get the Scout Squad Synthetic and get an aftermarket urban camo job on it. You'll still come out saving $500+ and have a better gun to boot.

    No socom...for now.

    Time to hole up in the reloading room and make some .38 wadcutter loads!
