I tried to search for the number of CBI checks that were done for gun sales in Colorado last year. Not easy to find and now I am probably on several watch lists.

Came up with 430,000. Any other stats? It sure adds up at an extra $2.00 per check!

Rocky mountain pawn in brighton charges 15.00 for a back ground check anyway, I'm sure others do too.

Nearly 20% is a pretty big increase considering the Biden administration is arguing inflation's only around 3% or so. It must cost a lot more these days to type information into a computer...

Perhaps removing the requirement for concealed carry holders and eliminate all the unnecessary and duplicative checks would put their resources in line with the current fee. However, that makes way too much sense so the idiot zombies corrupting the legislature will never do it.
I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.

Consider not requiring permission to exercise a RIGHT.

Zero justification for the government to know who owns or be able to track gun purchases.
