Some are speculating the navigation system may have been remotely hacked for a "Black Swan" event... but this was not this vessel's first accident... apparently last year they collided with a dock. They obviously experienced some sort of major electrical issues and engine issues from the video. Seems more like the ship was not properly maintained and the captain was incompetent. No reason to be anywhere near those pillars.
