    Default They are after TABOR.....again!

Well the cocksuckers are consistent aren't they?
Now they want to "Cut taxes" to the tune of 450 million but want to "reassign" 750 million from OUR TABOR refunds to pay for somebody else's "Low income" crotch fruit.
    Redistribution of wealth 101.
    https://www.denver7.com/news/politic...ncome-families

Those who support refunding part of that money in the form of tax credits to lower-income families say it will reduce child poverty in Colorado. Heather Tritten, president and CEO of Colorado Children?s Campaign, a child policy advocacy organization, said child poverty is often hidden in plain sight.
?There are 133,000 low-income children in Colorado,? said Tritten. ?There are a lot of families in the state who are struggling to make ends meet."
That?s why she supports the plan to redirect STEAL about $700 million in TABOR refunds from wealthier families, who pay more in taxes, to lower and middle-income families. Speaker Pro Tempore Chris deGruy Kennedy, who is sponsoring the measure to create new child tax credits, said the plan will cut child poverty in half I THOUGHT THE DOPE TAX WAS SUPPOSED TO DO THIS.

Somebody else's crotchfruit isn't my problem bitch.
And the "Tax Cut" is in the form of additional child tax credits- if you dont have dependent children as they say in "Goodfellas": Fuck You, Pay Me!

I can see right through this one- its how the state will support all of the new "transplants" here.

    Fuck this state

Refunds should only go to those that paid into it.

That is not a good way to transfer wealth. Shame on you.

On top of this they just found $67M that was "accidentally" not refunded to Colorado tax payers. And they have no idea how to pay it back now.

The Dems only want more more more.
They've never seen a tax or fee that they didn't like.
Of course it's always "for the children"
Part of the problem is all the new community members that just arrived from south of the border.
Laws aren't "preventable" measures. IOW, more gun laws won't stop mass shootings.

I think someone could challenge it easily. Directly from the bill text: "....and the combined excess revenue refunded in the next fiscal year." A selective tax credit, much to the dismay of progressives, it not a refund, nor does it meet the legislative intent.

    Consider this:

The Dems want to revoke TABOR yet every time it comes up for a vote the citizens say "Hell no" because they want their money back.

If the legislature (Dems) redistribute the funds to others, instead of back to those who paid paid it, folks may very well just give in and say "Well, I'm not getting the money back anyway, so why not...".

Steal the money. Don't give the money back as required. Then look to get folks to give in and allow TABOR to be dismantled since it isn't working anyway.

Most folks wouldn't see through this tactic and would throw their hands up in surrender to the efforts - especially if "it's for the poor and the children". Never overestimate the intelligence of the common voter - our Dem overlords certainly don't.
