Just the usual can't shoot over roads or trails and have to be X number of feet away from the road centerline or any permanent structure.. Other than that blast away.

Cool, thanks! My nephew's backyard butts up against a narrow strip of a friendly neighbor's property, but behind that is all BLM land.

Has anyone researched night shooting on BLM or National Forest land in CO? If there is a written policy or rules and regulations that are relevant to this, please let me know where I can look them up.
Only thing I can think of is the potential to run afoul of a CPW game warden who tries to say you’re poaching.
All the normal rules (dwelling distance, distance from road, etc.) should apply.
I would call the local CPW to ask and try to speak with a warden and let them know your location and that you will NOT be hunting, just night time target shooting. See what he says. Heck, invite him out.
