Default 2024 CO Gun banners agenda

I think we all knew this was coming with our Lefty legislature. Do you think Polis would veto any of this crap? He claims to be a 2nd amendment supporter.

Sponsored by Kyle Brown, D-Boulder County. That asshat spoke at my son's Troop meeting this past Monday. It wasn't the appropriate venue, otherwise we would have experienced an interesting discussion.

The Polis question is interesting since he is aiming to be President.

I think he may veto a bill to cite in the future as an example that he is a centrist, not a leftist.

The Democrats need someone to run in 2028 that is not as radical or polarizing as the current front runners in their camp. Watch for Polis to shift towards the center in his last two years in office. He will spend the next year on the tv circuit as a "moderate" pundit.

In '27 he will officially announce his candidacy.

The bill has this in it- "A public or private hospital, nursing home, clinic, medical office, urgent care facility or other place at which medical or healthcare services are being provided."

I was doing an inspection at Wind Crest. It is a huge retirement facility at 470 and Sante Fe. Over 600 units that start at $500k and top out around $1.2M- today. The monthly fee is $2500 and up, depending on the level of care required.

They have an on-site medical facility. This bill would preclude every resident and employee from having a firearm.

From the bill, it sounds like your firearms rights are done if you ever have a health aide come to your house.

Grocery store have a blood pressure machine or shot clinic? Yup- Carry is verboten.

I thought Boulder tried this a few years ago and it was destroyed in the courts.

If it was a few years ago it was probably because of the state preemption law.

The dems repealed that as quickly as they could so they could target otherwise law-abiding people as viciously as possible to protect a significant part of their voting demographic.

Remember this is the same party that's wanting biden to take federal control of the TX, national Guard. AS they're OUTRAGED Tx is ignoring the SCOTUS ruling.

Meanwhile Bruen has been fought since that ruling. By the same people whose panties are in a knot over Tx ignoring .......................A SCOTUS ruling.

Anyone else see how hypocritical they are?

Protesting outside the WH over the palastine / Israel conflict, trying to tear down fences and attack cops = their 1st amendment rights

    J6 = INSURRECTION!!

I'm off to Tx sunday afternoon.
