For those, not just today - but especially today, I remember and thank the Lord we've had men and women willing to give all to maintain the liberties this country was founded on.

God Bless America, especially our heroes in service of our country, that they may not be asked to give the ultimate sacrifice. For those who have, we thank you and pray this country does not take your sacrifice for granted or cause it to be in vain.

My grandson joined the Army about 12 or 13 years ago and was some position in Artillery. Got a medical discharge due to a bad back so can’t rejoin. He said that he really misses that life and would loved to have stayed in! ����

I am still pissed off about that time, several years back, when VP Kamala Harris acknowledged Memorial Day by telling Americans, "Enjoy the 3 day weekend!" with a big smile on her face and no mention of our soldiers.
