I did a bit of research and most of the victims were youths, teens or young men. The mayhem occurred in less affluent neighborhoods, often in the wee hours of the morning.

I know I am preaching to the choir here but I think many, many more laws are needed to keep these vile guns from corrupting our innocent children.

Guns are keeping our blameless youths from making sensible, moral decisions about their lives.

I am certain that if there were no guns radiating evil, these boys would all choose to pursue the noble paths of service and productivity they were destined for.

Never mind the lack of positive father figures or other role models. Or the constant reinforcement of negative stereotypes from almost every source- pop culture, politicians, clergy or "community organizers".

The problem is, and always has been, guns.
